About the maker
Usha Martin has made wire rope since 1961, and makes lift rope among ropes for cranes, mining, offshore and structural work. Its own site describes the Ranchi plant in India as over a hundred acres, and lists further works in Britain, the Netherlands, Dubai, Thailand and the United States.

Usha Martin states "Our quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards", and lists accreditations from Lloyd's, DNV-GL, ABS, NK Class, SNI, China Classification Society and ACRS.
